The National Examination Board (NEB) is going to conduct the secondary education examination (SEE) grade enhancement, i.e., a supplementary examination from August 7.
Controller of Examination Nanda Lal Paudel informed that the joint meeting of the National Examination Board, the Office of the Examination Controller (Class 10), and the Ministry of Education on Sunday decided to conduct a grade increase examination from August 7.
Earlier, on the exam results day, the Board chairman Prof. Dr. Mahashram Sharma said that the NEB will conduct the examination on August 2 and 3 for non-graded students failing two subjects.
After the Ministry of Education on Friday decided to allow non-graded students failing more than two subjects to participate in the examination, the Board on Sunday decided to postpone the examination date and conduct the examination starting August 7, he informed.
It is said that the results of the supplementary examination, which will be conducted from August 7 to 15, will be announced within the last week of September.
Students who pass the supplementary examination will be allowed to study in class 11 this year.
According to the SEE results published last Thursday, 242,313 non-graded students will be allowed to participate in the re-examination.
The Board has changed the exam schedule and will conduct it from August 7.
