Unified Socialist Nat’l Convention forms Khanal-led presidium; voting thru electronic machine

The 10th national convention of CPN (Unified Socialist) which kicked off at Bhrikutimandap on Sunday, is holding its closed session today.

Various committees have been formed to smoothly conduct the national convention, according to the publicity department of the party.

According to which, a 13-member presidium has been formed led by senior leader Jhala Nath Khanal. Similarly, a 15-member Discussion Forum Committee has been formed led by Deputy General Secretary Ghanashyam Bhusal.

Likewise, a Minute Committee has also been formed comprising Dr Ganga Lal Tuladhar and Dr. Bijaya Paudel, the publicity department has said.

It is learnt that the voting in the general election will be held through an electronic voting machine.

The closed session of the general convention which is underway at Kamaladi is starting from today, the Unified Socialist has said.

The national convention will run till July 4.
