The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is not participating in the new ruling alliance led by the Nepali Congress and the CPN (UML).

The party secretariat meeting held today decided to exit from the present government, but not participate in the new coalition, said the party Whip Santosh Pariyar. "Now we are not going to be a part of the new alliance after the progress of the present political developments. We will exit from the government the moment the process for forming the news government is moved forward," he said.

Stating that two big parties in Parliament remaining in the same government is against the democratic culture, the RSP Whip said his party is not convinced that this alliance will provide political stability.
