Associate Professor and Critic Dr. Ramji Timsina has gone missing for the last two days.
Dr. Timsina, who originally hails from Itahari Sub Metropolitan City, Sunsari, left his house on Wednesday morning, leaving behind a note.
“I am taking a jalsamadhi (spiritual trance) in Barahakshetra. Goodbye!’ reads the note left behind by Timsina in the house before his departure. The note also bore the date July 3, 2024, Wednesday 4:18 am.
Alarmed by the possibility of Samadhi, Timsina’s family has filed a complaint at the Area Police Office, Itahari, requesting a search for him.
He had left the house around 4:15 am before the other members of his family woke up, according to his family sources.
Associate Professor Timsina used to teach at Koshi College in Itahari and Mahendra Multiple Campus in Dharan.

SP Bipin Regmi of District Police Office, Sunsari, said they have launched a manhunt for Timsina around Barahakshetra area after his family members filed a complaint at the police station. However, the police are still clueless about Timsina’s whereabouts till the posting of this news.
