It has been revealed that two out of four people who were found brutally murdered in the Indian State of Meghalaya last Saturday are Nepali nationals.
The Deputy Chief of Mission (DCM) of the Nepali Embassy in New Delhi, India, Dr. Surendra Thapa, has confirmed that two out of four killed in Meghalaya are Nepalis.
The deceased are identified as Rabi Rai from Ilam and Rajesh Rai from Dharan. Their bodies have been handed over to their relatives, the Embassy said.
The bodies of four people were found with their throats slit near Umpleng Bazaar in Meghalaya on Saturday. Thapa informed that two of the four are locals of Meghalaya.
