CPN (UML) has finalized the names of ministers who are going to participate in the government of the Bagmati Province.
Those finalized are Prakash Shrestha from Kathmandu, Prem Bhakta Maharjan (Lalitpur), Aman Maske (Kathmandu), Krishna Silwal (Chitwan), Sukmaya Tamang ((Sindhuli) and Kiran Thapa Magar (Bhaktapur).
The ministers have been finalized even though the ministerial portfolios are yet to be decided. UML has picked five new faces except Prakash Shrestha to participate in the government.
Province Assembly leader Bahadur Singh Lama of Nepali Congress is submitting a claim for the post of Chief Minister today.
He is laying claim to the post with the support of 64 lawmakers including 27 from UML and 37 Nepali Congress.
The Chief Minister will be appointed by the evening today, the Office of the Chief Minister has said.
