Transitional Justice Amendment Bill tabled in National Assembly

A meeting of the National Assembly.

The Investigation of the Enforced Disappeared Persons and Truth and Reconciliation Commission (Third Amendment) Bill, 2079 has been tabled in the National Assembly with a message from the House of Representatives.

Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Ajay Kumar Chaurasia, presented the Bill in the National Assembly meeting on behalf of the government on Sunday.

Minister Chaurasia presented the proposal to the Assembly stating that ‘The Investigation of the Enforced Disappeared Persons and Truth and Reconciliation Commission (Third Amendment) Bill, 2079’ be considered.’

The Bill has already been passed by the House of Representatives.
