Gold glitters, sells for Rs 153,000 per tola

The price of gold reached an all-time high of Rs 153,000 per tola (11.66 grams) in the domestic market today. The price of gold has soared in the international market as well.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the hallmark gold is being traded at Rs 153,000 per tola on Wednesday. Its price increased by Rs 800 per tola today compared to the previous day. This is so far the highest price for gold in the domestic market.

Similarly, the price of silver rose by Rs 15 per tola today compared to yesterday, Tuesday, to trade at Rs 1,835.
