Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli had issued a revised map of Nepal incorporating Limpiyadhura, Kalapani and Lipulekh in 2077 BS.
India has been unhappy with Nepal following the issuance of the newly revised map of Nepal. India publicly expressed discontent with the Nepal government’s decision to incorporate disputed areas into its updated map.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers earlier had decided to incorporate the revised map of Nepal in Nepali currencies after the new map of Nepal was issued by amending the Constitution.
The NRB has initiated the process forward by taking the permission of the Council of Ministers.
