Parliamentary panel formed to probe cooperative fund misuse extended by 15 days

Term of the Parliamentary Investigation Special Committee on the Misuse of Cooperative Savings Fund has been extended for 15 days.

Committee Chair Surya Bahadur Thapa floated a 15-day extension proposal in the meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) today. The proposal had been endorsed unanimously.

The term of the Parliamentary Committee is expiring on September 5.

The parliamentary investigation committee had been formed on May 28 with a three-month deadline.
