A person died and 11 others sustained injuries in a house collapse at Burtibang bazaar of Baglung district.
The deceased has been identified as 55-year-old Beg Bahadur BK.
According to the Police Inspector at the District Police Office, Baglung, Pratap Paudel, the house collapsed all of a sudden while the people were pulling down its wall to clear off space for building the new house.
BK was the house owner. He died in the course of treatment at Burtibang Primary Health Center. All those trapped in the wreckage were rescued and taken to hospital. They are receiving treatment at Burtibang Primary Health Centre, added Paudel.
