Buddha Air adds flight to Varanasi

Three days a week from now onward

Buddha Air has added a third weekly flight to Varanasi, India, taking it to three flights a week from today (Wednesday).

Earlier, Buddha Air used to fly to that destination only on Mondays and Fridays.

Buddha Air said that flights will now be conducted three days a week --Monday, Wednesday and Friday – this flight could be more helpful to passengers visiting India.

Buddha Holidays, a sister company of Buddha Air, has also said that there are holiday packages for various destinations including Varanasi, and Ayodhya.

This flight package can offer opportunities to those passengers willing to perform Sohrashraddha (a 16-day lunar period in which Hindus pay homage to their ancestors) in Gaya, India.

Varanasi can be reached within 50 minutes by a flight of Buddha Air. A one-way fare from Kathmandu to Varanasi is fixed at Rs. 11,360.

According to Buddha Air, the flight time to Varanasi from Kathmandu is 7:15 am and from Varanasi to Kathmandu is 8:30 am.
