Microbus spotted while extracting 3 buses at Jhyaplekhola landslide; 7 bodies retrieved

A landslide at Jhyaplekhola.

Another microbus was found buried in the course of extracting three big buses in the landslide that occurred in Dhunibesi Municipality-9, Jhyaplekhola of Dhading.

Bikram Rana, ward member of Dhunibensi Municipality-9, informed that a microbus was also found during the extraction of three buses buried in the same landslide.

According to Rana, seven dead bodies have been retrieved from the incident so far.

Ward member Rana said that the teams of Armed Police, Nepal Police, and Nepali Army with the help of locals deployed at the incident site are carrying out rescue works.

It is suspected that the dead bodies could be those of the passengers of the bus going to Kathmandu from Gorkha and the microbus to Kathmandu from Chitwan.
