A person died and five others sustained injuries in a motorcycle accident in Chitwan district on Monday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Rohan Paudel of Adhikhola Rural Municipality, Syangja.
According to DSP Bhesh Raj Rijal, who is also the spokesperson for the District Police Office, Chitwan, Paudel died after his motorcycle, Na 43 Pa 6241, went out of control and hit other two vehicles at Ratnanagar Municipality-9, Tikauli, this morning.
Critically injured Paudel, who was rushed to Bharatpur Hospital, breathed his last in the course of treatment at 10 am today.
The motorcycle had rammed other two vehicles – a scooter, Bagmati Pradesh, 03-003 Pa 866, and a motorcycle, Ga 12 Pa 7172, after it went out of control, leaving six people injured including the pillion riders.
