Australian Ambassador calls on Foreign Minister Rana

Newly appointed Ambassador of Australia to Nepal Leann Johnston paid a courtesy call on Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba on Monday.

Held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs this afternoon, the two leaders in the meeting discussed various issues related to bilateral ties and mutual interest between Nepal and Australia.

"Minister Rana and Australian Ambassador Johnston exchanged views on further developing and deepening Nepal-Australia cooperation in areas of mutual interests," reads the X message issued by the Foreign Ministry.

Similarly, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Nepal, Aleksei A. Novikov also paid a courtesy call on Minister Arzu Rana Deuba today.

"Various matters on Nepal-Russia relations and cooperation were discussed in the meeting," the Foreign Ministry said in an X message issued following the meeting.
