NEPSE up 31.48 points

Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) went up by 31.48 points to reach at 2,699.66 points on Tuesday, the third trading day of the week.

With the rise in the share market, the share value of 205 companies has increased while that of 32 companies went down.

Iindicators of all the groups rose and turned green except for manufacturing and processing ones today, positively impacting the share value of the comapanies.

The share price of Janaki Finance and Mithila Microfinace went down by 10  percent resulting in positive circuit and that of Multipurspose Finance increased by 9.32 percent today.

On the other hand, Solu Hydro witnessed a negative circuit with the 10 percent declince in its share value today. Similarly, United Modi Hydropower, Unilever Nepal and Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Santha witnessed decline in their share prices today.

Despite the rise in the indices of the Nepse that opend following the Dashain festival, the investors were not found so enthuasisic.

Consequently, the NEPSE recorded a turnover of just Rs 3 billion today, compared to the average of Rs 5 billion prior to the Dashain festival.

Out of a total turnover of Rs 3 billion, Goodwill Finance posted the highest transaction of Rs 180 million, followed by Nepal Finance with Rs 110 million today.
