The share market, which spiraled down in the last two days, has bounced back with an upsurge of 25.88 points on Tuesday, the third trading day of the week.
According to Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the share prices went up by 0.98 percent to reach at 2665.81 points today.
With this, the bench mark index witnessed a turnover of 4 billion 171 million, 600 thousand rupees from the trading of 10 million units of shares.
While the share prices of 199 companies increased that of 40 companies decreased. Share prices of five companies remained unchanged.
According to NEPSE, the share prices of Rawa Energy Development increased by 8.86 percent, Manakamana Engineering Hydro (7.82%), Three Star Hydropower (6.36%), Mahuli Laghubitta (6.10%), and that of Mailung Khola Hydroelectricity Company went up by 6.09 percent today.
Similarly, Wean Nepal Laghubitta and Sikles Hydropower recorded fall in their share prices by maximum 4.75 percent.
In terms of transaction volume, Goodwill Finance has made a turnover of 170 million, Kumari Bank (130 million), Himalayan Re Insurance (120 million), Peoples Hydropower (100 million) and Nepal SBI Bank recorded a turnover of 80 million rupees.
