PM claims 70% of works govt said it would do accomplished (video)

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has claimed that the government has completed 70 percent of works it had committed to do.

Addressing the nation to share key achievements in 100 days from Singha Durbar, Prime Minister Oli said that the government has accomplished 70 percent of the works it had committed to do.

"We made a performance agreement between the prime minister and the minister," said PM Oli, "Within the first 100 days, the number of jobs to be done by all the ministries reached 274. Among them, 185 works have been completed. This government has done 70 percent of what it said it would do."

He went on to say that the government has carried out works for the rescue, relief and rehabilitation of the people hit by floods, landslides inundation.

The government has initiated actions against over 600 individuals for their involvement in the misuse of funds from the cooperatives while 575 are already behind bars, said Oli.

In his address, the PM said that symptoms of reforms have been seen in the country's economy, adding that impressive commitment was recorded in FDI, too.

He said that the share market is on the path to progress.

Oli further said that the pipelines have been laid down from Amlekhgunj to Lothar in Chitwan in order to ease supplies of petroleum products.
