Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation held discussions with Investment Board Nepal (IBN) on the issue of forwarding large-scale hydropower projects for the construction and operation.
Minister Dipak Khadka held discussions with office-bearers of the Investment Board at the Ministry today about national pride projects of hydropower sectors, other projects and their development and current state, said senior energy expert of the Ministry, Prabal Adhikari.
Discussions were held regarding investment, infrastructures, legal framework for the operation and development of Upper Karnali Hydropower Project, Budhigandaki Hydropower Project, Betan Karnali Hydropower Project, Arun III Hydropower Project, West Seti Hydropower Project in the meeting, he added.
Secretary at the Ministry, Suresh Acharya, Joint-Secretary Chiranjivi Chataut, Chief Executive Officer of the Investment Board Sushil Gyawali, and Finance Expert at the Ministry, Amit Shrestha, among others were present in the meeting.
