Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) has recorded a transaction of 5 billion 340 million rupees on Monday, the second trading day of the week.
The turnover of Rs 5.34 billion was made through the trading of 10 million shares, according to the benchmark index.
Nepse went up by 27.41 points to reach at 2645.36 points today. While the share price of 213 companies increased, that of 28 ones decreased and the share price of two companies remained unchanged.
The share value of Janaki Finance and Dolti Power, River Falls Power, Menchhiyam Hydro and Mayakhola Hydro increased.
Similarly, the losers experienced fall in their share prices of up to 6.02 percent today.
Nepal Finance topped the transaction volume chart with Rs 330 million, followed by Samriddhi Finance (Rs 240 million), Life Insurance Corporation (Rs 190 million), Janaki Finance (Rs 160 million), and People's Hydropower recorded a turnover of Rs 150 million.
