Gold hits record high of Rs 171,000 per tola

The gold price has hit an all-time high today, the second last trading day of the week.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders Federation (FENEGOSIDA), the yellow precious metal has increased by 300 rupees per tola today.

With the new price adjustment, bullion is being traded at Rs 171,000 per tola today. The previous day, gold was traded at Rs 170,700.

On the other hand, silver has become cheaper by 30 rupees. Today silver is being traded at Rs 2,090 per tola.

In the international market, gold was traded at US$ 2,785 per ounce and silver US$at 33 per ounce, the agencies have reported.
