Prime Minister Oli said this during a meeting with the women's football team players in Baluwatar on Wednesday morning. During the meeting, Oli further said that the government will leave no stone unturned for the development of sports and the encouragement of the players.
As per the existing rule, each player of the Nepali team that finished as the runner-up in the SAFF Women's Championship final will get a cash prize of Rs 300,000.
This announcement from the Prime Minister has come at a time when players are yet to receive prizes of some games.

In response, the players expressed happiness over the government's commitment to prioritize the infrastructure development for sports.
