Gold price drops to Rs 162,200 per tola

The gold price has continued to drop partly following the election of Donald Trump as the president of America.

The price of gold which decreased by Rs 2,400 per tola on Tuesday has gone down by Rs 400 per tola today. 

With the fall in price, the gold price is fixed at Rs 162,200 per today, the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association (FENEGOSIDA) has said.

The gold price was Rs 162,600 yesterday. Similarly, it was traded for Rs 165,000 on Monday and Rs 166,000 per tola on Sunday.

The price of bullion had hit an all-time high on October 31 with Rs 171,000 per tola.

The price has been decreasing since then. The price of gold has decreased by Rs 9,000 per tola in the period of 13 days.

On the other hand, the price of silver has gone up by Rs 15 per tola. The silver was sold for Rs 1,925 per tola is being sold for Rs 1,940.
