Biker injured after being hit by Jhankri Prakash Bhujel's car passes away

The motorcyclist who sustained injuries after being hit by the car driven by Jhankri (self-proclaimed shaman) Prakash Bhujel has passed away.

Two motorcycle-borne people were critically injured after being struck by the car drivern by Bhujel on the Sankh-Thali road section Shankharapur Municipality-9 at around 1:15 pm on Wednesday.

Among those injured, 38-year-old Narayan Nagarkoti of Kageshwari Manohara Municipality-2, Kathmandu, breathed his last in the course of treatment, District Police Range, Kathmandu said.

Nagarkoti's wife of around 32 years-old Sanumaya Nagarkoti, who was riding pillion, sustained critical injuries.

The car, Ba 19 Cha 2695, driven by Bhujel, which was heading to Sankhu from Thali, struck the motorcycle, Ba. Pra. 02-018 Pa 6875, heading toward the same direction.

Both the injured had been taken to Grande International Hospital, Tokha after a preliminary treatment at Shankharapur Hospital, Narayantar.

Police said they are investigating the case after taking the car its driver Bhujel in the custody of Police Circle, Bouddha, the District Police Range, Kathmandu Police Spokesperson SP Nawaraj Adhikari told Nepalkhabar.
