The truck that met with an accident at Naukilo in Chitwan on Sunday evening.
Three people have died in a truck accident at Naukilo in Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality-6, Chitwan, along the Narayangadh-Muglin road section.
The truck, with the registration number, Bagmati Pradesh 03-001 Kha 3490, was heading from Narayangadh to Muglin when it turned turtle on the roadside at Naukilo around at 7 pm on Sunday.
Two people died on the spot and a minor died in the course of treatment when the truck carrying rice met with an accident, said Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of the District Police Office, Chitwan, Gyan Kumar Mahato.
According to Mahato, Shyam Bajgain, 38, of Makawanpurgadhi Rural Municipality-6, Makawanpur, Deepak Dahal, 31, of the same place, and 8-year-old Arambha Pokharel, a resident of Kalika Municipality-3, Chitwan, died in the accident.
The injured Arambha died at the Old Medical College in Bharatpur around 5:30 am on Monday (today), DSP Mahato informed.
The other two injured are undergoing treatment in Bharatpur, according to the police.
The injured, Bal Bahadur Koirala of Makawanpur Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City-18, is undergoing treatment at Chitwan Medical College and Man Bahadur BK of Ramechhap is being treated at Alive Hospital and Trauma Center, and Susan BK, 27, of Makawanpurgadhi Rural Municipality-6 is undergoing treatment at the New Medical College, Bharatpur.
