All tickets for NPL inaugural match sold out

All the tickets for the inaugural matches of Nepal Premier League (NPL) have been sold out, Cricket Association of Nepal has said.

According to the cricket governing body of Nepal, as many as 10,000 tickets were sold for the NPL inaugural tournament.

The NPL will kick-start at TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, with Biratnagar Kings facing Janakpur Bolts on Saturday 12 pm.

CAN spokesperson Chhumbi Lama said that 800 VIP tickets and 9,200 general public tickets have been sold for the inaugural NPL match.

CAN has set Rs 300 per ticket for general seats and Rs 700 for VIP seats for the NPL inaugural match.

Similarly, Rs 300 and Rs 500 for League matches, Rs 500 and 700 for playoffs and Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 for the final matches, for general public and VIPs, respectively, have been fixed, CAN said.

CAN has set ticket prices for league matches at Rs 300 for general tickets and Rs 500 for VIP tickets. As for playoffs, prices are Rs 500 and Rs 700, respectively. Similarly, Rs 500 for general tickets and Rs 1,000 VIP tickets have been fixed for the final match.

Likewise, CAN has also introduced seasonal passes with 20 percent discount, setting Rs 4,480 for general public and Rs 8,240 for VIPs to attract more audiences.
