Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to hold meetings with top three Chinese leaders on the second day after he reaches China.
Similarly, Prime Minister Oli will participate in three programs on the third day (December 4).
He is embarking on a visit to China at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart Li Qiang on December 2.
He will remain busy holding bilateral meetings with top Chinese officials including Chinese President Xi Jinping, Prime Minister Li Qiang and chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China, Zhao Leji on December 3, according to a source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Similarly, Oli is scheduled to address a Nepal Investment Forum to be organized by the Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Beijing on December 4. He will also attend a program to be organized by Peking University and observe the poverty alleviation-related project in Beijing on the same day.
Oli will return home on December 5, wrapping up his four-day-visit to China, according to a source at the Foreign Ministry.
Cabinet approves PM's China visit
The upcoming China visit of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has been approved.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers on Thursday evening endorsed December 2-5 as the China visit of Prime Minister Oli, informed Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Badri Pandey.
According to Minister Pandey, the Prime Minister's delegation will comprise 87 members including those from private sectors. As for agendas, the discussions are still underway, Pandey added.
"The cabinet has approved December 2-5 as the China visit of Prime Minister Oli," said Minister Pandey, "Oli will fly to Beijing, leading an 87-member delegation, many of them from private sectors. Discussions are underway regarding agenda items."
