Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana has reached Chengdu as part of preparation for Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's China visit.
Minister Rana, who flew to China for a three-day official visit this afternoon at the invitation of her Chinese counterpart Wang Yi, reached Chengdu a while ago.
She was welcomed by Li Huaiqiang, Deputy Director General of the Foreign Affairs Office of Sichuan Province of China, Nepali Ambassador to China, Krishna Prasad Oli, and Suresh Raut, Consul General of Nepal to Chengdu, according to a press note issued by the Embassy of Nepal in Beijing.
Minister Rana will hold a bilateral meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang on Friday.
She will return to Kathmandu on November 30.
Prime Minister Oli is scheduled to embark on a visit to China on December 2.
