The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of China has officially announced Nepal's Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's visit to China.
Posting the announcement on the official website, the spokesperson at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, Mao Ning said, "At the invitation of Premier Li Qiang of the State Council, Nepali Prime Minister Oli will pay an official visit to China from December 2 to 5."

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli will embark on a four-day China visit at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart Li Qiang on a chartered flight of Himalaya Airlines on December 2, leading a 39-member jumbo delegation.
According to a press note released by the Foreign Ministry, Radhika Shakya, the spouse of the Prime Minister, Foreign Minister Dr Arzu Rana Deuba, Prime Minister's Chief Advisor Bishnu Rimal, Economic and Development Advisor Dr. Yubaraj Khatiwada, Chief Secretary Eknarayan Aryal, Chief of Protocol Bishnu Prasad Gautam and Prime Minister's security officer Lieutenant Colonel Diwakar Khadka will be accompanying him during Oli's China visit.
Similarly, the visiting team also includes nine lawmakers including Arjun Narasingha KC, Shyam Kumar Ghimire, Leela Nath Shrestha, Bijula Rayamajhi, Rekha Sharma, Birendra Mahato, Deepak Karki, Sarbendra Nath Shukla and Ranjita Shrestha, high-ranking government officials and media persons, and the representatives of private sector, the Foreign Ministry said.
Prime Minister Oli will fly to Beijing on December 2, will hold meetings with top three Chinese leaders on the second day after he reaches China. Similarly, Oli will participate in three programs on the third day (December 4).
According to the Foreign Ministry, he will remain busy holding bilateral meetings with top Chinese officials including Chinese President Xi Jinping, Prime Minister Li Qiang and chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China, Zhao Leji on December 3, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Similarly, Oli is scheduled to address a Nepal Investment Forum to be organized by the Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Beijing on December 4. He will also attend a program to be organized by Peking University and observe the poverty alleviation-related project in Beijing on the same day.
Oli will return home on December 5, wrapping up his four-day-visit to China.
