Foreign Minister Dr Arzu Rana has held a bilateral meeting with her Chinese counterpart Wang Yi on Friday evening in Chengdu.
Posting a message on her Facebook page following the meeting, Minister Rana said the meeting centered on the preparations of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's China visit and was held in a warm and cordial manner.
"We exchanged views on various aspects of Nepal-China relations and discussed matters relating to the preparation for the upcoming official visit of Rt. Hon. K P Sharma Oli, Prime Minister of Nepal, to China. The meeting was held in a very warm and cordial environment," reads the message posted by Minister Rana.

Rana, who flew to Chengdu on Thursday as part of preparation of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's China visit, also visited the Consulate General of Nepal, listened briefing by the CG and interacted with the staff members of the consulate earlier in the day on Friday.
"In the backdrop of “Nepal Visit year 2025” jointly announced by both the governments on the occasion of 70th anniversary of formal bilateral relations next year, I instructed the Consulate General to explore possibilities to promote Nepali tourism to further consolidate people to people connections," posted Rana.
Minister Rana, who is on a three-day official visit to China at the invitation of her Chinese counterpart Wang, will return home on November 30.
Prime Minister Oli is scheduled to embark on a visit to China on December 2.
