Janakpur Bolts has made a flying start by registering a win against Biratnagar Kings in the opening match of the Nepal Premier League.
Chasing the 128-run target set by Biratnagar, Janakpur reached it in 15.3 overs losing only 2 wickets.
To register the win against Biratnagar, Janakpur's Lahiru Milantha topped the score with 75 not out runs including 9 fours and 3 sixes off 53 balls followed by Harsh Thaker with 29 runs. Similarly, Anil Sah contributed 5 runs.

On the bowling side, Chris Sole and Pratis GC took one wicket each for Biratnagar.
Earlier, invited to bat first after losing the toss, Biratnagar notched up 127 runs losing all wickets in 19 overs.
Martin Guptill topped the score with 55 runs studded with 7 fours and one six off 43 deliveries followed by Aqib Ilyas with 15 runs while Nicholas Kirton contributed 9 runs. The other batsmen could not achieve double-digit runs.
On the bowling side, Lalit Rajbanshi took the highest 3 wickets conceding 28 runs. Harsh Thaker and Koshore Mahato grabbed 2 wickets each while Ben Mike and Mohammad Mohsin claimed 1 wicket each for Janakpur.
