NOC hikes petroleum prices

The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has increased the price of petroleum products.

The state-owned corporation said the petro price has been hiked to be effective from 12.00 tonight.

As informed, petrol price has been increased by Rs 1 per liter. According to the increased price, petrol has been fixed at Rs 157.50 per liter in the first category, Rs 159 in the second category and Rs 160 per liter in the third category.

In the first category, Charali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhgunj, Bhalwari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi and Birgunj are included. Likewise, Surkhet and Dang are in the second category, while Kathmandu, Pokhara and Dipayal are in the third category.

The NOC has increased the price of aviation fuel by US$ 15 per kiloliter on the international side.

The price of aviation fuel has been increased by Rs 2 per liter on the domestic side.

Although the cooking LP gas has been increased by Rs 14.49 per cylinder, it has been kept unchanged for the time being in keeping with the interest of the consumers.
