India records 200 new COVID-19 cases in last 24 hours

India recorded a single day rise of 200 new coronavirus infections, while the active cases decline to 3,767, The Times of India reported on Thursday.

The total tally of COVID cases in the country stands at 4.46 crore (44,675,447).

The overall death toll has risen to 530,667 with five fatalities – three reconciled by Kerala, and one each reported from Karnataka and Maharashtra in the last 24 hours, as of 8 am today.

Active cases comprise 0.01 per cent of the total infections, while the national COVID-19 recovery has increased to 98.80 percent, according to the Union Health Ministry of India.
