The election process for the new leadership of the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) has begun.
Even though the election program was scheduled for various dates over the past six months, it was postponed due to membership distribution disputes.
Nominations were filed today as per the decision of the district chapter and pratishthan (media house) chairpersons' meeting held in Bhaktapur in Nepali month Ashwin to proceed with the election program based on the membership finalized by the province committee on the recommendation of the chapter.
The list of candidates for various positions has been made public. The election for the federation is scheduled to be held on December 13.
