Karnali Yaks has set a 134-run target for Biratnagar in the 13th match of the ongoing Nepal Premier League (NPL) 2024.
Invited to bat first after losing the toss at the TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur on Saturday, Karnali notched up 133 runs losing all wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
William Bosisto topped the score with 66 runs including 5 fours and 3 sixes off 49 balls. Similarly, Dev Khanal made 53 runs including 4 fours and 2 sixes off 48 balls. The other batsmen could not acheive double-digit runs.
In reply, Pratis GC took the highest 4 wickets giving away 17 runs followed by Chris Sole, Basir Ahamad and Aqib Ilyas with, 2, 2 and 1 wicket, respectively for Biratnagar.
Both Karnali Yaks and Biratnagar Kings have played three matches each and lost two and won one so far in the ongoing IPL.
Biratnagar will bat against Karnali in a while.
