NPL 2024: Pokhara sets 139-run target for Kathmandu

Pokhara Avengers has set a 139-run target for Kathmandu Gurkhas in the 24th match of the ongoing Nepal Premier League (NPL).

Invited to bat first after losing the toss at the TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur on Saturday, Pokhara notched up 138 runs losing 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Raymon Reifer topped the score with 41 runs followed by Dinesh Kharel with 38 runs while Dilip Nath grabbed 27 runs. The other batsmen could not achieve significant runs.

In reply, Karan KC and Rashid Khan took 3 wickets each while Gerhard Erasmus and Michael Levitt grabbed 1 wicket each for Kathmandu.
