Final results of FNJ elections unveiled (with votes)

The final results of the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) have been made public.

The final results of the voting held on Friday were made public only late Sunday night.

Nirmala Sharma was elected as the president with 4,282 votes. Her nearest rival Ramesh Bista got 3,203 votes.

Deepak Acharya was elected as the senior vice president with 4,230 votes. His nearest rival Roshan Puri got 2,886 votes.

Neetu Pandit was elected as the vice president (women) with 4,705 votes. Her nearest rival Ganga Paudel Baral got 2,644 votes.

Umid Bagchand won as the vice president (inclusive) with 4,292 votes. His nearest rival Subhash Prasad Sah got 2,080 votes.

Ram Prasad Dahal was elected as the general secretary. He got 4,084 votes while his nearest rival Lekhnath Neupane got 1,929 votes.

Ramesh Khatiwada has won the secretary post (open) by getting 3,400 votes. His nearest rival, Uttar Singh Bista, has received 2,067 votes. Ramkrishna Adhikari has been elected as the treasurer.
