Shooting of Prasad 2 begins in Kaski

The shooting of the film 'Prasad 2' began on Thursday.

Producer Subas Thapa said the shooting of the film was started in Machhapuchhre Rural Municipality, Kaski.

"We have begun filming by fixing a schedule of one and a half months. We are basing the movie on a rural setting and are also capturing the beauty of the mountains," said Thapa.

Lead actors Bipin Karki and Keki Adhikari, who are playing the roles of husband and wife in the movie, were with the film crew as the shooting began.

Sudarshan Basnet is directing 'Prasad 2' under the banner of SG Films and Sulabh Thapa Productions.

The film will feature Arpan Thapa, Mahesh Tripathi, Kamal Mani Nepal, Prakash Ghimire, Bishal Pahadi, Nima Pandey and others.

Rajesh Shrestha is looking after cinematography, Uttam Neupane sound, Rajan Raj Siwakoti is producing music for 'Prasad 2'.

The film is written by journalist Sushil Poudel. 'Prasad 2' is going to be made as a sequel of Prasad, which was a grand success.

Writer Poudel said that the story of the film will be based on actors Karki and Adhikari.

"The film showcases the love of the two lead actors and the struggle they face," said writer Poudel.
