Renowned Indian playback singer Sonu Nigam has arrived in Kathmandu.
He landed at the Tribhuvan Internal Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu on Wednesday afternoon. Sonu was received with a warm welcome at the TIA.
Comedian Sandip Chhetri welcomed him with a Nepali Dhaka topi and khada (scarf) upon his arrival at the airport. "I am excited to perform live in Kathmandu this evening," said Sonu during his brief conservation with media.
Artist Sonu Nigam, will be performing live in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, this evening.
Singer Sonu will deliver his performance on the premises of Hayat Regency Hotel on the occasion of Christmas festival.
Over 10,000 audiences will attend the concert titled 'Sonu Nigam Live in Nepal' starting 6 pm today, the organizer has said.
To be organized by Nepal Touch, a 25-member band including Sonu will present their performances for around three hours. According to the organizer, Sonu will also sing five Nepali songs including 'Yo Jindagile', 'Ukali Orali Gardai,' 'Phoolko Dali Dalima,' 'Yo Mayale Herana.'
Similarly, he will entertain audiences with popular Hindi songs including 'Mere Dholna,' 'Kal Ho Naa Ho,' 'Saathiya,' 'Papa Meri Jaan,' 'Abhi Mujh Mein Kahin,' according to the organizer.
Concert tickets are priced between Rs 2,000 and Rs 50,000.
