Five Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs) have been recommended for promotion for the post of Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police.
A notice issued today by the Nepal Police Recommendation Committee announced the promotion of five SSPs.
The recommended SSPs are Ishwar Karki, Rajendra Prasad Bhatta, Dinesh Kumar Acharya, Arun Paudel and Govinda Thapaliya.
The SSPs, who were recommend for promotion to DIG today, had joined the Nepal Police as an inspector on March 31 1998.
