Buddha Air aircraft flying to Bhadrapur diverted to Katmandu

A flight of Buddha Air, which was flying to Bhadrapur from Kathmandu, has been diverted to the federal capita after notching a technical glitch.

The flight of Buddha Air with the call sign N9-AJS was diverted to Kathmandu after a problem cropped up with its right engine, the airlines company said.

The diverted aircraft landed safely at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) at 11:15 am.

A technical team is conducting a thorough examination into the aircraft and preparations are underway to send the passengers on another flight, Buddha Air has said.
