President Ram Chandra Paudel has certified four out of five ordinances recommended by the government.
"Four out of five ordinances recommended by the cabinet meeting on Friday have been certified by the President," said the Office of the President, Shital Niwas.
The four ordinances issued by the President on Monday include the Ordinance to Amend Certain Nepal Acts Relating to Promotion of Good Governance and Public Service Delivery, 2081 BS, the Financial Procedures and Fiscal Responsibility (First Amendment) Ordinance, 2081 BS, the Privatization (First Amendment) Ordinance, 2081 BS, and the Ordinance to Amend Certain Nepal Acts Relating to Improvement of Economic and Business Environment and Promotion of Investment, 2081 BS.
However, the President suspended the Ordinance to Amend Certain Nepal Acts Relating to land of Nepal, 2081 BS.
Minister for Communications and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung, who is also the government spokesperson, had mentioned all five ordinances while making the decisions of the Council of Ministers public.
