Club Chairman Harka Gurung handing over a trophy to winner Binod Khadka.
Binod Khadka has won the title of the One-day Winter Tennis Tournament organized by Gurkha Nepalese Tennis Club in the United Kingdom (UK).
Khadka grabbed the title by defeating Milan Garbuja 4-0, 4-0, in the final match of Men's Singles Open A held in Basingstoke Indoor Tennis Center on Sunday.
This is the first Singles title won by Khadka organized by the Club. Similarly, toward Open B, Bibhesh Rai clinched the title by defeating Sahadev Pant.

While, in the over-45 category, Bishal Gurung beat Dhiraj Pun, Nama Raj Gurung defeated Lalit Malla in the 55 + category.
In Novice Singles, Gujin Gurung emerged victorious over Wison Gurung. Meanwhile, in the Women's Singles category, Nabina Gurung triumphed over Ritu Gurung."
Club Chairman Harka Bahadur Gurung presented trophies to the winners and runners-up amidst a ceremony.
Dozens of male and female players had participated in the tournament.
With over 200 active members, the Club organizes four tournaments a year including winter, spring, summer and autumn.
