Additional Secretary (North) of the Ministry of External Affairs of India, Shri Munu Mahawar, has paid a courtesy call on Foreign Minister of Nepal, Dr Arzu Rana Deuba.
Held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Singha Durbar, Indian Secretary, and Minister Rana discussed ways of bolstering Nepal-India ties, the Foreign Ministry mentioned on X, formerly Twitter.
"Had a nice meeting with Shri Munu Mahawar, Additional Secretary (North), Ministry of External Affairs of India today. Bilateral matters pertaining to strengthening Nepal-India relations were discussed during the meeting," the Foreign Ministry said.

Indian diplomat, who is currently on a Nepal visit, held a meeting with his Nepali counterpart Amrit Kumkar Rai on Tuesday. Munu Mahawar, an Additional Secretary in India's Ministry of External Affairs, is responsible for matters related to northern affairs.
Visiting Additional Secretary Mahawar also visited the Mangaladevi Birthing (Maternity) Center at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Kathmandu and the Gusthal Mahavihar reconstruction site in Lalitpur yesterday.
