Preparation have begun to erect the Himalayan Hospitality Hotel in Kamaladi, Kathmandu.
The facility to be built at a total cost of Rs 1.35 billion is said to be of international standard, offering services such as restaurants, gym and fitness hall, swimming pool, among others.
International Himalayan Hospitality and Hotel Private Limited is set to construct the nine-storied hotel comprising 94 rooms, including eight suites.
The Ministry of Forests and Environment has already initiated the necessary process for Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) of the hotel.
A few days ago, the Ministry, through a public notice, sought relevant information regarding potential environmental impacts around the construction site from the hotel project.
Environmental Services Private Limited is carrying out the EIA of the hotel project.
Around 100 people are said to be employed at the hotel after the facility commences operation.
The hotel will also built two rooms and ramps for the access of physically challenged people.
