Roshan Thapa Magar has been elected as the general secretary of All Nepal National Independent Students' Union (Revolutionary).
ANNISU-R is the student wing of CPN (Maoist Center). He won the post of general secretary by securing 601 votes.
Thapa Magar is from the Hemanta Rai panel, the candidate of the chairman.
This panel is considered close to Deputy General Secretary of Maoist Center, Janardan Sharma.
Earlier, the elections of eleven secretaries and a treasurer have been finalized.
