Singer Alina Chauhan has filed a case with the Kathmandu District Court seeking a divorce from her husband Bishnu Sapkota.
The District Court records indicate that Alina is seeking a divorce but has not claimed the alimony or share she is legally entitled to.
Information Officer Deepak Kumar Shrestha informed that Alina has filed a case seeking a divorce.
"She has filed a complaint through the will," he said, "she has not asked for alimony or share she is entitled to, she has only mentioned that she wants a divorce."
Alina from Jhapa and Bishnu Sapkota from Baglung tied the knot only a few months ago.
