A propolsal on six ordinances submitted by the government on October January 31 has been removed from the list of agendas of the National Assembly.

National Assembly member Beduram Bhusal, who attended the meeting, informed that the ordinances were removed as agendas as the parties are making efforts to forge consensus on it.

"A proposal regarding ordinances has been removed from the list of agendas," National Assembly member Beduram Bhusal told Nepalkhbar, "The government requested the National Assembly secretariat to remove the proposal from its agenda, citing ongoing efforts to build consensus on it."

Even though Nepali Congress and CPN (UML) have a majority in the House of Representatives, Janata Samajbadi Party, Nepal is decisive in the National Assembly. The ordinance will not be endorsed unless JSP-N stands in favor for it.
