The weather is partly cloudy in the hilly regions of the country, including Koshi and Lumbini provinces, currently, owing to the general influence of westerly winds.
Mist and fog are currently prevailing in some places in the Terai region. The weather in the rest of the country is mainly clear, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD).
According to a weather bulletin issued by the Division at 6 am today, there is a possibility of light snowfall in one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpashchim provinces today.

Meanwhile, the Division has advised the general public to adopt precautionary measures stating that the mist and fog in the Terai and the snowfall in highlands may impact daily life, public health, and road and air transport.
