Gold price reaches Rs 170,200 per tola

The gold price has increased by Rs 600 per tola today.

With the price-hike, the yellow precious metal is being sold for Rs 170,200 per tola, the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association (FENEGOSIDA) said.

The price had increased by Rs 1,400 to reach at Rs 169,600 per tola yesterday.

On the other hand, the silver price has gone down by R 30 per tola. It is being sold for Rs 1,945 per tola today. The price of silver was fixed for Rs 1,975 per tola on Monday.

The gold price had hit a record high of Rs 171,000 per tola on October 31, 2024.

The gold price had gone down after the government decreased the customs duties.
